La Gazzetta dello Sport noted that the last time Inter defeated Juventu 2-0 in San Siro, Nerzurri won the tripleta and the Bianconers ended up in 7th place in the league, 27 points behind their rivals.
The Old Lady is currently in fifth place in Serie A, seven points behind Inter, but with one less game. Milan shares the table's head with the Nerrazzurs, but the Rossons can be the only leaders if they win against Calimar tonight.
A year ago, with Sarri at the helm, Bianconers equalled Inter at the top of the ranking by 42 points from 17 matches, which means Pirlo has collected nine points less than Naples's former coach.
Pirlo has also equated the worst start of a season -- what Allegre had done -- after Old Lady scored 33 points in 17 matches in 2015-16.
Roberto Mancin's interest was the first in the league in that edition, but only three points on the Bianconers and the Nerzurs finished in fourth place.
However, Allegri's players were in the middle of a series of 15 consecutive victories and 25 in 26 matches, eventually winning the league by a score of nine compared to Naples in the second.
