The American Embassy calls the historic moment Selimi's decision to rule of law strategy

The U.S. Embassy ( The US) in Kosovo.

In response it is said to be important for strengthening the rule of law and justice system in Kosovo.

“Today the Ministry of Justice unveiled the strategy and action plan for Functional Review, an important historic moment for strengthening the rule of law and justice system in Kosovo”, the embassy statement said.

Nevertheless, it is stressed that this is not the end of this process for which from the embassy they say they will encourage the new government to adopt final documents and implement all recommendations.

Among the four governments and four ministers, the Embassy has been proud to have supported this massive enterprise. However, this is not the end of this process. We encourage the new government, once it is formed, to adopt final documents and that Kosovo relevant institutions embrace and fully implement all recommendations. This is not a political process, but run by Kosovo institutions. Reform in justice will benefit all people in Kosovo”, said in response.
