Chapecoense was leading 2-1 in the 97th minute and needed another goal to raise the title.
And, dramatically, he won a penalty in the end.
Anselmo Ramon took responsibility and scored with the Paneca to ensure his team's glory.

Chapecoense has had many difficulties throughout history.
In November 2016, LaMia Flight 2933 crashed, killing 71 of the 77 passengers aboard.
Most Chapecoense's team was on the plane. Only three football players survived, and one of them was Alan Ruschel.
Ruschel, however, did not easily escape the tragedy.
He suffered a back injury that required surgery. Wonderfully, just days after the crash, he started walking again.

The odds were against him to return professional football. But Ruschel insisted and, nine months later, he went back to action for his team.
He is now the only survivor of the crash that still plays for the team.
And, Friday evening, he was the captain in the Chapecoens triumph in the second category of Brazilian football.
He raised the trophy in what is an extraordinary and inspiring story. /Periscope. com/
