The agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, which was signed at the White House on 4 September, has produced harsh reactions in the political sphere in Kosovo.
Professor and sociologist near “Virginia University”, Besnik Pula said in “Iva Now” that within the signed agreement there were many points, not directly related to relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
He says one of the issues, which has been extremely disappointing for the Kosovo side, was the non-recognition of Kosovo on the part of Serbia, even though Prime Minister Hoti before the trip to the White House said this would be the main goal.
According to him, this failure has been the main reason it has produced reactions and controversy over the economic agreement in Kosovo.
The “Brend agreement has a range of issues that are not related at all between Kosovo and Serbia. There are points that are not directly related between Kosovo and Serbia, and between these points we have issues, which turned out disappointing, both for the Kosovar side, because even Prime Minister Hoti had claimed he would go to Washington to get recognition from Serbia, but came without him. That is the essence of VV response, but also from Vjosa Osmani and others”, he told Euronews Albania.
Israeli involvement in the Kosovo and Serbia issue for Mr. The chicken is a “game” election of U.S. President Donald Trump. He further said there are two signed documents in the White House, which are more in the form of pledges, which can further increase existing political tensions.
The inclusion of Israel had nothing to do with the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, but with Donald Trump's election campaign. We have two documents signed by Prime Minister Hoti and President Vucic, which are more in the form of pledges than passing agreements with ratification. This begins with problems, where I think they will further increase existing political tensions”, he stressed.
