Armenia's Foreign Affairs Minister said Soviet plane pilot SU-25 died after a Turkish F-16 was hit in Armenian airspace.
Turkey, which is supporting Azerbaijan in this conflict, has given no comment, the BBC reports, translates Periscopi.
Close to 100 people, including civilians, have died in just three days of fighting across the conflicted mountain region.
The mountainous enclava is officially part of Azerbaijan, but has been led by ethnic Armenians since 1994.
The wars that began three days ago appear to be out of control, fearing they could include Russia and Iran as well. /Periscope
