The two Spanish clubs were to meet today in Valdebeba for the pre-zonal preparation match.
But, the match has been completely cancelled because a Vallecano player was in expectation of the PCR test for Covid-19.
Clubs have decided not to take risks and have concluded that the best thing is to cancel the meeting.
Real Madrid will start its new 2020/21 season in La League on September 20th.
And Rayo will start his new season this Sunday against Real Mallorca in La Liga SmartBank, the second level of Spanish football.
