The computer that reads the human mind! The experiment in Helsinki reveals what we couldn't even imagine

Researchers in Helsinki have developed a technique in which a computer shapes visual perception by monitoring signals from the human brain. Indeed, it can be said more simply like this computer is trying to read human thoughts, reports Sciencedaily. The technique combines natural human responses and computer skills to create new information. In the experiment, participants were asked to look at images created by a computer, and after people responded, the computer created a new image based on that response, according to signals received by respondents.

Thus, a computer can create a completely new image that harmonizes with human purpose - thought, says Tuukka Routsalo, a researcher at Helsinki University and a visiting professor at Copenhagen University.

The above example is just one of the potential benefits of this new technology. What socially beneficial is that computers can use this method to include creativity.

If you want to draw or illustrate something and you're not capable, a computer can help you in this. You just have to keep track of which details you're focusing on and predict what you want to draw,” says researcher Mikhail Spape.
