I didn't miss surprises on the three preliminary challenges of the Champions League this evening.
PAOK, the Dinamo of Kiev and Gent, were three local teams that provided the qualifications for the “play-off” phase of Champions.
No doubt the biggest surprise was the Greek team's qualifications. Bars from Thessaloniki, defeated by 2-1, an extremely strong team like Benfia, thus being only one step away from the LK groups.
In the other two challenges, Kyiv's Dinamo defeats AZ Alkmar with a score of 2-0, as Gent eliminated Vienna's Rapid after the 2-1 triumph.
