A senior official of the World Health Organization estimated that Sweden has <x0-sourced” in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, saying its approach was bad.
Sweden's government has been widely criticised for seeking immunity from the flock, allowing the virus to move through the population, CNN reports.
But doctor Mike Ryan, executive director of the World Health Organization's Health Emergency Programme, said it is not true that Sweden has not implemented monitoring measures, it transmits Telegrafi.
“It tried to rely on individuals and communities to abide by the government's advice and has tried to avoid setting mandatory deadlocks, keeping distance”, Ryan claimed.
This is based on historical levels of trust between the Swedish government and its people, Ryan said.
“This is the way Swedes interact and their government”, he said, adding that “This is the social contract in Sweden. ”
By contrast, 83958 people in the Swedish state have been infected with coronavirus until 5821 people have passed away.
