The impact of the coronary pandemic crisis has taken on a global scale.
This crisis has affected business activity and has a huge impact both economically and socially.
In view of this, the governments of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Northern Macedonia must make decisions that will facilitate the free movement of people, as well as enable the steady flow of trade exchange, which affect the development of the two countries' regional economy.
Kosovo Afarism Oda (OAK) and Northern Macedonia Economic Oda (OEMVP) appeal to governments of both states to abolish decision The binding negative PCR test, in co-ordination with relevant ministries and commissions in order to enable continued regional co-operation, maintaining all measures for protection and prevention of COVID-19.
“Taking into account Kosovo's earthly connection and proximity to northern Macedonia, The mandatory negative PCR test committed to entry into both states is presenting an additional barrier for both physical and business persons, because the economy first gets hit which suffers major losses from this decision. Kosovo and Northern Macedonia have not established tests with Albania, and as such, they consider it not necessary to deploy”, said the communiqué.
