The new season at Kosovo Superleague in football was meant to begin 12 September.
The Executive Committee of the Kosovo Football Federation at the end of June had decided that the new season, 2020/2021 in the Football Superleague, would begin on September 12th.
But, at a meeting held two days ago between FFK leaders and IKC officials, it was decided to postpone the start of the new edition for a week.
FFK President Agim Ademi in a promotion given to the Insport confirmed the decision to restore the Superleague next week, underlining the fact that FFK is in constant co-ordination with the Ministry of Sports and Health for the best management of the outlook on football, Insport writes.
If there is no change in the pandemic situation, then in the next weekend the football Superleague in Kosovo returns. The new football season will begin with 99% in the next weekend” he said.
“Federata is in continued contact with the Sports and Health Mines. We've made all professional preparations for the start of the new edition” he concluded.
During yesterday, the meeting was held between federation officials with representatives of Superleague clubs, where the WFK expressed readiness to help clubs after major problems created by the coronary pandemic.
We remember that this season is going to change in Superleague format, where the race will take place with 10 teams with the aim of showing the championship the rise of quality.
