National Institute of Public Health Director Naser Ramadani hopes that Kosovo will be a top priority in the world's ran-reglist in terms of supply of vaccine against Coved 19.
Ramadani, during a visit he made to the House of the Non-Afflicted, has stated that the plan for vaccinating the population has already been made with the vaccine against Avid 19.
And we hope that at the beginning of the winter season, vulnerable populations will be vaccinated according to epidemiological indicators for seasonal flu. And secondly, the vaccine for the Tyvid 19 virus is expected soon to emerge, and Kosovo is among the priority countries that may be offered vaccines. And we've also made the plan to vaccinate the population with a vaccine against Avid 19 together with the seasonal flu vaccine. We believe that as a country we are prepared for the second and third wave as some call it.
And Ramadani also spoke of the second wave of Covid, which is envisioned during the coming months in Kosovo.
After many sanariovs, that can mix two virus games, two major types this current Covid 19 and autumn flu. So there are different viruses that can make people with chronic diseases worse. The government, the MSH and the IKSHP have made possible preparations and sensors”, explains Naser Ramadani.
