Moldova and Kosovo tomorrow from 20:45 will face each other in a challenge, to be held on neutral ground.
It was the Moldovan Federation as host of the match that asked for the U. EFA play in Italy because its country does not recognise Kosovo.
In a proposal for the official website of Moldova's Football Federation, the deputy head of this federation, Dragos Hincu, has talked about organising the match against Kosovo.
It's the first time we've been in the mood, but we play outside. This was due to the state reports of Moldova and Kosovo. We wanted to play in Romania, but neither do they know Kosovo”, Hincu said, then providing details for the game played in Italy.
“Then we decided to organize the match in Italy, where we have a large diaspora. We took this decision hoping that the pandemic situation would change and we could play fans, but unfortunately it didn't. Frankly, we initially thought about playing in Udine, since many of our countrymen live there, but Italian authorities didn't allow us because Udine is closer to Serbia and could therefore be problematic” Hincu added.
