EU Special Emissar Miroslav Lajcak said today it is time for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process to be completed successfully.
“Today is exactly 10 years since the UN General Assembly welcomed the European Union's readiness to mediate the process of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina. It is time for him to end successfully,” Lajcak wrote on Twitter.
Another round of talks between Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq was held in Brussels on Monday as part of a dialogue under the auspices of the EU.
After the negotiations, Lajcak said the “full progress” was made on topics previously opened, economic co-operation and missing and displaced persons.
Otherwise, an expert-level meeting will be held next week, and Vuciq's Hoti will meet again before the end of September.
