The European Parliament has warned that it will discuss the situation in Kosovo and the region, the performance of the dialogue process between Kosovo and Serbia that is continuing with EU mediation and visa liberalisation for Kosovo.
The European Parliament has recalled that it has consistently supported the process of dialogue and Kosovo's path to European integrations.
The visa liberalisation process, the European Parliament continues to label it unnecessary and harmful delays.
The EP has supported the European Commission's recommendation for visa liberalisation for Kosovo, but this decision has not yet passed to the Council, where qualified member states of the vote decide.
Therefore, it is expected that even today during the debate with Kosovo's prime minister, MEPs will repeat the call for the visa liberalisation process to be completed as soon as possible.
A report sent by the European Parliament's Commission for Foreign Policy has also been said to expect Kosovo's prime minister to announce the flow of dialogue with Serbia.
Hoti had stayed in Brussels early this week for a bilateral meeting she had with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, within the EU-brokered dialogue.
Such a meeting is expected to take place at the end of this month again, while expert meetings are expected over the next week.
