While in the last two sessions the ruling coalition has failed to pass in a simple majority the draft law on economic recovery, Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has denied they have enough votes to push the bill forward.
He stressed that the moment they do not have 61 votes in the Assembly, the government will fall, until it warned that at Friday's session, this financial stimulus for citizens will pass.
Hoti, after a discussion with the economic offices in Kosovo, also spoke to his report with President Thaci, where he said he is not prime minister to confront anyone within the institutions.
At the moment that the government does not have 61 votes in the Assembly, the government falls. We have more than 60 votes in the Assembly. The reason that in some hearings this law has not passed and some other laws is because dozens of status and opposition deputies have been affected by Ovidius. I believe that at the next session there are most of the deputies, everyone has passed this situation and will be in the hall and pass the laws”, he said.
Asked by Kosovo, the head of the government said it would only do its task with maximum dedication by the end of the mandate.
I am not prime minister to confront anyone within the institutions, but to carry out my task with maximum dedication until the end of mandate”
For the economic recovery bill, Prime Minister Hoti also called for support from opposition parties. Meanwhile, during this meeting, he also warned of reviewing the reserve measures for David-19.
