The Gastronom Association has once again reacted to the government's decision on limiting these businesses.
From tomorrow, the Kosovo Gastronom Association will begin collecting 10,000 signatures for changing decisions.
The Kosovo Gastronom Association from tomorrow will begin with the collection of 10,000 signatures for changing decisions, so we demand that Government make a review of the situation and take into account some of our urgent demands”, the association's response reported.
Even if their demands are not approved, gastronoms say they will exploit all legal rights to lift restrictions.
Full announcement of the Gastronom Association:
In the Gastronomia of Kosovo every day and with many situations getting worse, we have economic deaths every day and we are forced to get fired every day
It is not the only solution for the state of the Republic of Kosovo to increase its budget by condemning businesses and citizens, as they also have economic crises, we think that stimulating methods should be used, rather than punitive, because it is not time.
You haven't subsidized any of the businesses you're punishing, so you have to take European examples that up to 80% have helped businesses.
Also, an example can be taken from the region, such as Macedonia, which has subsidised workers' salaries for five (5) months.
The Kosovo Gastronom Association does not defend and give responsibility to those businesses that individually or independently break rules and respect measures already known to be contrary even to the policies of the Kosovo Gastronom Association
In view of the circumstances, the damage and barriers created by the pandemic must have consideration for businesses not to be sanctioned, and the character of state policies should be milder and supportive of the gastronomy sector.
Therefore, as the Kosovo Gastronom Association, we see the restriction of movement unnecessary and we think that business should not be prevented from working in closed spaces while the state and its institutions offer no financial assistance or any other alternative support to Gastronomy businesses in Kosovo.
The Kosovo Gastronomous Association from tomorrow we will begin with the collection of 10,000 signatures for changing decisions, so we demand that Government make a re-evaluation of the situation and consider some of our urgent demands.
1. House calls to parliament to change schedule
2. Post until 23:30
3. Done in closed spaces
4. Set an exact manual for keeping distance and protective measures in closed spaces
5. Helping Businesses With Economic Packages
If our demands are not approved, we will seize all rights permitted by the laws and constitution of the Republic of Kosovo
So we appeal to the Government, the Parliament and all other institutions that gastronomy has little damage, otherwise we are forced to continue protesting until our demands are approved.
