Dritan Abazovic: Kosovo recognition by Montenegro closed, denies whether it comes to agenda

Albanian-born politician Dritan Abazovic, owner of the coalition list “black on white”, has declared it would be against, if the next Montenegrin government's appeal of recognition is put in order.

In an interview for the Serbian newspaper “Kurir”, which has broadcast some of the main media in Serbia, Abazovic has said he expects Kosovo and Serbia to reach agreement in the future.

And of course we're going to be against this question, and I don't think it's even going to be a matter of day, because it's a matter that's done, it shouldn't be returned to the past. I even expect Belgrade and Pristina to find common language in the near future and to agree on the purpose of lowering tensions and enabling the reconciliation process. Peace has no price. Everyone here wants peace...”, he has stated.

Our coalition condition is an expert government, so that they can represent us dignified people, he has said, adding that “the regime will do its best, the mafia will do its best to keep such a thing from happening”.

Abazovic has also said in this interview that his dream is “Montenegro in the EU”.

“Montenegro in the European Union, to have better reconciliation and standard of living than it is now. I'm sure that dream can be true”, he said.
