Kosovo Superleague Clubs in football have remained only spectators in the new championship's TV rights process starting on September 12th by the Kosovo Football Federation (FFK), although clubs are obviously the main performers in Kosovo football.
These days it was reported that Artmotion was in the race to win NFK's broadcasting rights.
The Kosovo Football Federation (FFK) had opened the tender on 5 August. Media companies had until 12 August to compete. But the winner has not been announced even weeks after the tender deadline is completed.
Express has learned that an FFK commission has prepared a report from this process, through which it recommends the Executive Committee of NFFC to declare “Artmotion” winners of the new championship's transmission.
Likewise, financial offers have been kept secret for several days. While, Kosovo practices and laws impose institutions that open financial offers in the presence of the parties. And that adds doubts about the correctness of this process.
The Balkans have become one of the most attractive clubs in Kosovo's Superliga in football, thanks to large investments of its leaders. But club leaders from Suhareka are suspicious of the process, while confirming they have not been informed of anything to do with the process.
“We have our remarks in this process where there was no transparency. The bids are not properly opened. Then I consider there should be no restrictions on who can compete, and who cannot compete. It has to be given the opportunity to compete all interested ones, even those foreign companies from Kosovo, because that's how there might be even bigger bidders and clubs would benefit more. We are waiting for information, meeting, and depending on how most clubs decide we will act even at”, one of the biggest investors currently in Kosovo football, Balkan President Arsim Kabashi, told Gazeta Express.
Trepca 89 and Light had also reacted to this tender.
