Montenegro's President Milo Djukanovic said he could not say exactly why the election outcome was as it was after parliamentary elections in that country.
At the same time, however, he accused Aleksandar Vuciq of, as he said, media and political aggression by Belgrade, because, according to Djukanovic, the Serbian president gave strong support to the nationalism of Greater Serbia in Montenegro, Tanjug reported.
“I believe you will notice that since December, from the adoption of the Law on Freedom of Religion respectively, we have had a strong political-mediatic aggression from Belgrade to Montenegro”, Djukanovic said in an interview with Newsadria Media, Television broadcast.
He says Serbia's current policy and Vuciqi have two troubled “goals --”.
“They want to interfere with the domestic policy of other countries and it is their duty to try to relate the nationalism policy of Great Serbia in the region,” said Djukanovic, adding that the “both are very wrong and very catastrophic”.
To repeat such a mistake, Djukanovic says, less than 30 years later, and to target Montenegro “because “Croatia and Kosovo were targeted” is an expression of irresponsability.
According to Djukanovic, this means an attempt to change the character of Montenegro, the “those who received these instructions initially needed to mask the true mission of Belgrade's official policy, which means to create an atmosphere for changing the government in Montenegro, but in reality want to make the Serbian triangle, Belgrade ♫ Republika Podgorica”.
