Deputy Prime Minister Selmanaj gives important announcement to Albanians of the Presevo Valley: Poppulism with you ended

“Zyra for providing assistance to citizens of the Presevo Valley” established today by the Government of Kosovo, commits to taking the necessary measures to facilitate and improve the lives of Albanian citizens living in the Presevo Valley in the following areas, but not limiting themselves to them:

• In the field of education and culture:

Regular supply with necessary textbooks;

) Supply libraries with necessary books;

The previously launched initiatives will be supported (as is the Memorandum for Co-operation between the Albanian National Council and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and other memorandums, financing the construction of music school etc. );

The admission of students from Presevo Valley to Public Universities based on specific quotas that take into account the needs of educational institutions and other institutions in the Valley, as well as their support during studies; support of cultural activities and sports activities;

The support of local media and NGOs, which in their goals have educational, cultural and youth activities;

• In the field of economics:

Supporting the co-operation of business associations from Kosovo with businesses and associations from Presevo Valley;

Support of businesses from Valley to participate in other business fairs and organisations in Kosovo;

The initiative of cross-border co-operation agreements of municipalities in Kosovo and those in the Valley;

The definition of a quota for Valley citizens in the training program for various trades.

Other support according to need and legislation in force.

The office will address other issues that are not listed in this decision but that come out as demands and eventual needs from citizens living in the Presevo Valley.
