Greek media report that there are dozens of calls for help from people trapped in houses in Lianoclassia, among them people who have trouble walking.
One of them has moved to Lamia's hospital after his house was flooded and rescued by firemen.
The others will be transferred to Baskia, Lamia, after their homes were flooded. In addition, dozens have been trapped in cars on the Lamia Street Carpenis, the traffic that has been stopped since 2:50.
With the exception of firemen and Civil Protection machines, each other's vehicle is banned.
Even in the village of Zilafto, houses were flooded as the waters carried away a man who was saved while the water flooded into many courtyards and houses.
