For 24 hours in Albania 6 people with COVID-19 die, 135 new cases confirmed

Through a daily press communiqué, as far as the situation created in Albania by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Health Ministry there suggested that 6 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours and resulted in 135 new cases. “Since the beginning of the epidemic are over 10,000 affected [...]

“Since the beginning of the epidemic are over 10,000 affected by COVID-19, of them 60% are cured, while 3814 are active people with COVID-19. Of the 860 tests that have been conducted in the last 24 hours, including tests conducted in non-public labs, which fulfill the definition of the case, to confirm positive or suspected diagnosis, according to I assessment. The times, 135 citizens are affected by the SARS COV2 virus. While 94 citizens have won the battle with the dangerous virus in the last 24 hours. The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is like the following: 33 cases in Tirana, 29 in Elbasan, 13 in Lezha, 10 in Kruja, 7 in Lushnje, out of 4 cases in Durres, Kamus, Gjirokastra, out of 3 cases in Fier, Kurbin, Kavaj, Puka, Berat, Leazhdez, from 2 cases in Vlora, Mirsday, Pogradec, Saranda, from 1 case in Shkodra, Grogozhen, Gram”, said Marjet Dervis of the Public Health Institute.

Then he added:

“in Infective Hospital and “Chiefs Rudoku” are treating 189 confirmed positive patients with COVID-19, 12 in intensive therapy of which 4 patients are involved. Also in two COVID hospitals are receiving specialised service from 17 citizens who have been positive with COVID-19 and are currently negativeised, but are continuing to receive hospital treatment for the effects of the disease. The dangerous virus battle has failed to win a 63-year-old Tirana who has trained the nurse's duties at Trauma Hospital and suffered from co-operative diseases despite the maximum efforts of doctors and nurses”.
