Health Minister Armenmen Zemaj has had a meeting today with Italy's Ambassador Nicola Orlando, where he talked about health co-operation between the two countries.
Zemaj has also indicated that he asked the ambassador for help by sending health professionals, especially intensive care doctors, anesthesiologist, to support us with their experience at this time of pandemic.
“I announced to the ambassador that Kosovo is increasing its capacity to confront Covid19. I asked you to Italy will help us by sending medical professionals, especially intensive care doctors, anesthesiologist, to support us with their experience at this time of pandemic”, has written the first health person in his Facebook post, the Bank Kosova broadcast.
“Weeks ago we made arrangements with the Italian side to bring some doctors to Kosovo to help cope with Avid19. I thanked the state friend Italy for its continued support for Kosovo over the years, and especially during this difficult time of pandemic”.
