“We were together in war and peace”, Thaci remembers Bajram Rexhepi on the three-year anniversary of his death

Today, three years are complete since former Kosovo Prime Minister Bajram Rexhepi split his life.

President Thaci has reminded Rexhepi on the three-year anniversary of his death, saying he was an exemplary figure of patriotism, which never halted the contribution to the freedom, independence and empowerment of the state of Kosovo.

Thaci says Rexhepi made a huge contribution to the front lines of the war, saving hundreds of lives of KLA soldiers and enabling them to return to the war stages for the protection of their homeland.

Kosovo's first post-war prime minister, BERAM REGEEPI was an example of patriotism, which never halted the contribution to the freedom, independence and empowerment of the state of Kosovo.

Bajram Rexhepi was intellectual, humanist, diplomat and very determined politician.

He made a huge contribution to the front lines of the war, saving hundreds of lives of KLA soldiers and enabling them to return to the war stages for the protection of their homeland.

He was a unifying figure in the most sensitive moments of our domestic policy after the liberation, co-operating with all political subjects as Kosovo's first prime minister.

Bajram Rexhepi also made an extraordinary contribution to his native Mitrovica, which he led many years.

The commitment and dedication to empowering the state of Kosovo, Bajram Rexhepi, did not stop at any moment.

We were together in both war and peace!

Together we won many battles, until three years ago, when unfortunately he lost his battle with serious illness, only physically separating ourselves from us.

The contribution, political and patriotic legacy Bajram Rexhepi has left for future generations will live forever!
