He has called police officers in charge of post-war “herons and has indicated his decision to decorated with Kosovo's “Hero command”.
President Thaci's full status:
Very few months after the country's liberation, together with the leadership of Western expertise, we started building the Kosovo Police Service from scratch. We created the first police in Kosovo, according to democratic standards and criteria. A multiethnic institution, with merit and gender representation!
Today, our police are examples for the entire region and wider. It is the force, security and honor of our citizens and our state. Every day is at the helm of duty, in the service of citizens, security and the protection of the homeland.
In the line of duty, 21 policemen have given their most expensive, life. They're post-war heroes, and for their contribution I've decided to decorate with Kosovo's “Hero command”. HTH.
