Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has been awarded today with presidential humanist medals from the United States of America, Turan Russia.
In the announcement made via Facebook, President Thaci has said he is one of the first countrymen who emigrated to the United States after World War II and worked continuously with his family for the freedom and state of Kosovo.
For the contribution made to Kosovo's freedom and independence, I awarded the Presidential Medal today to the Humanist Turan Russia. He is one of the first countrymen to emigrate to the United States after World War II. Turani and his sons, Sali, Ilir and Arben, and the entire family showed knowledge, humanity, will and courage to work constantly for the freedom and state of Kosovo”, Thaci wrote on Facebook.
