Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Abelard Tahiri said citizens trust Ramadan Krasniqi's statements -- Remzije Osmani -- more than Albin Kurti and Avdullah Hoti. According to him, it is immoral and dishonest to ask citizens to vote today and go to elections. MP Mimoza Kusari-Lila has also reacted to this.
Abelard Tahiri from the Democratic Party of Kosovo said Albin Kurti, with ad-hoc actions, brought the country close to collapse and brought the country close to a major failure.
So much the credibility of governments has fallen, that today citizens trust singers like Ramadan Krasniqi and Remzije Osmani, rather than Albin Kurti and Avdullah Hoti. This is where these two prime ministers came in. Albin Kurti has failed to bring the assembly bill. His government was the first government of Kosovo that, apart from the budget initiative, no law brought to the Kosovo Assembly for three months. The worse Avdullah Hoti today is refusing to bring such a law to the Kosovo Assembly. The failure of these two prime ministers has cost citizens, the economy, our health system and the state itself so much that this bill is hard to pay without serious consequences”, he added.
Among other things, he said that the Vetevendosje Movement at the time when up to 16 people per day from Coronavirus are targeting the elections. What she said was immoral and dishonest.
“We have seen during this time how LVV when we had 15-16 cases a day trying to block even holding these sessions as if we risk the health of Kosovo's Parliament deputies. And today, when 15-16 people die a day, it's exactly LVVV that wants elections. That's really meaningless, that shows how insincere, and indecisive, and how deceptive they are. Today it's immoral, it's unfair to ask for a citizen to address the ballot boxes at a time where he can get infected, and by the time he ends up in the hospital, and by the time he can change his life, as a result of my giving him the vote to come to this congregation”, Tahiri has declared.
It has reacted on behalf of the Vetevendosje Movement Parliamentary Group, Mimoza Kusari-Lila. It is immoral to be abused by facts.
“For a former justice minister uses terms both immoral and irresponsible, and with actual abuse, it is really immoral and unconscious”, it has stated.
For this, Tahiri told MP Kusari-Lila that she could not take her statements to Avdullah Hoti seriously, since it was the same as in 2017 that she had demanded a vote on the latter.
I can't take this seriously. Because in 2017, you're tired of asking for their vote in every television debate, in the political tribunes, telling us he's the best candidate, and the best prime minister Kosovo has. And in relation to it I can't take it seriously”, he turned to it.
Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Abelard Tahiri has declared that even if this party supports the LVV motion, it will not be part of the election list.
“Even if my party had supported this motion so that the country could go to the polls, under no circumstances would I have agreed to be part of any racing list that requires citizens to come out in time of pandemic to give me a vote, and risk their own”, he added.
