The scheduled meeting between Kosovo and Serbia on September 2nd, at the White House, will most likely be postponed in two days.
Gazeta Express diplomatic sources suggest the meeting could be moved on September 4th.
As American President Donald Trump himself has told Gazette Express these resources can take part. He is already holding his campaign for presidential elections, held in November.
Kosovo has agreed to postpone the meeting, while Serbia remains to take its stand.
The assembly of the meeting between Kosovo and Serbia had made Richard Green, the emissary of Trump, known for the dialogue.
President Robert O'Brien's National Security Adviser is organizing this meeting.
O'Brien's office days ago confirmed to Gazeta Express that Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq and Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti are participating in the meeting.
So far it has been speculated that from the White House, Kosovo and Serbia can come up with all sorts of agreements, even the possibility of a final agreement has been mentioned.
Prime Minister Hoti has said that at the meeting at the White House, “will be discussed for major economic co-operation projects that will change Kosovo's economic perspective and region”.
Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has also said Serbia is participating to discuss economic topics.
A meeting between Kosovo and Serbia at the White House was scheduled to be held on 27 June, but was canceled after the Special Prosecutor in The Hague announced he has handed over war crimes indictment against President Hashim Thaci, who had only left for the meeting in Washington.
Thaci returned halfway and from that announcement he did not attend any meeting outside Kosovo.
Kosovo and Serbia returned after two years to the Brussels negotiating table, with European Union mediating, and Prime Minister Hoti and President Vuciq attended.
