Jethmir Topalli has signed three-year contracts with Turkey's Superleague team Yeni Malatyaspor.
Kacanic-born footballer, who in Kosovo made 2 July, Vushtrri and recently the Balkans, completed his transition to Turkey's football elite Thursday evening. It was also part of Fernikli last summer in the preliminary competitions of the Champions League and the League of Europe.
The 22-year-old in the entire 2019/20 edition has played 38 games, while contributing eight goals of assisting. He's been very happy to join this team.
The first impressions are very good, I'm very happy to be part of them. I thank Balkan President Arsim Kabashi, and club president Yeni Malatyaspor, for everything that has happened these days”, have been Topall's first words after signing the contract.
However, the arm attacker never thought that in such a short time he would reach such a career.
Well, to be honest, I didn't expect to get up so much. I thank God for the opportunity and also the people who have helped me, and that's a big list, but one day he'll mention everyone. I have to give as much as I always do and then be rewarded with the help of God”, he said.
“I hope to have health, luck and hope that one day I will receive the invitation from our Kosovo National”, Topalli concluded.
Yeni Malatyaspor's team, which we left behind, ended up in 16th place. However, Turkey's Football Federation decided that there should be no decline from the elite until three teams have been added to the Turkish Superleagues.
In Turkey's Superleague, Malatyaspor competes since 2017, while in its edition, he has also played in the qualifications of the League of Europe.
