A 19-year-old with initial F.A., citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, has lost his life in a lake on the Sea Hill in Tetovo, known as “Great Lake”, located near the border line Macedonia-Kosovo.
The Northern Macedonia Ministry of Interior Affairs has been declared in connection with yesterday's tragedy, where the young man from the Dragas municipality has been found dead in a lake located on Macedonian territory near the border with Kosovo.
MPB reported that the victim and his friends had illegally crossed the border.
“On 28.08.2020 was reported at the border surveillance station at “Popova Sapka” that in our country's territory, F.A (about 20 years old) along with several others from Kosovo have entered illegally into the Republic of Northern Macedonia, where they were later washed up at the “Karanicolla Lake<844>, which, according to the report, F.A., was drowned there. One of the men had returned to the Republic of Kosovo and had reported the event to the police station in Dragash, from where border police in Popova Slipka were later announced. On August 29th about 9, an inspection team from Tetovo and the Public Prosecutor arrived at the location of the helicopter event, and the F.A. body was removed from the lake's waters. By order of the Public Attorney, the body of the deceased was sent for autopsy. Other people who were with the deceased were held at the Tetovo police station for the dawning of the” case, the North Macedonia Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
