NASA astronauts in SpaceX capsule returning to Earth

The first astronauts traveling through the SpaceX capsule in orbit are headed for Earth, and will make a descent as in the past, where the capsule will land in the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday evening, after two months of space stay. This will be the first landing in [...]

This will be the first landing in the sea for 45 years for NASA astronauts, the AP writes.

Pilots Sough Hurley and Bob Banken left the International Space Station on Saturday evening, and their return home to the first commercial capsule built by SpaceX to keep people in orbit and back, reportedly will be fast, harsh and very warm, at least from outside.

The plans are that the Dragon capsule, called Stemavour by its team, will go from the staggering orbital speed of 28,000 miles (8,000 km) to 560 km\h at the entrance of the atmosphere and eventually to 24 km) the moment it crashes into the sea. The maximum warmth that will reach the capsule during the descent will be 1,900 degrees Fahrenheit [1,900 ° C].

Then the SpaceX, with more than 40 employees, including doctors, will approach the capsule when it touches the sea. In order for astronauts to be safe from the pandemic, the team has self-issupplied for two weeks and tested for coronary.

SpaceX says it takes half an hour for the ship to get near the capsule and extra time to get the capsule on board. After medical examination, astronauts will fly home to Houston.
