Leicester becomes the third English club in the contest for Muriqi

The Turkish newspaper Aksam reports that Leicester City has joined the race for the transfer of Vedat Muriq this summer, thus becoming the third English club to be interested in the Kosovo star of Fenerbahces.

Major Turkish and other European media have reported repeatedly in recent months that Fenerbahce is willing to sell Vedat Murijqi this summer, the Express broadcast.

The 26-year-old is enjoying an impressive season with the Turkish club, contributing to the team with 17 scored goals and 7 assistants in all competitions this season.

He was talked about an escape from Fenerbahce even during the January steed deadline, but was finally left in Turkey. However, Fenerbahce now reportedly will agree to sell Muriqi this summer to any club that offers most money, at least 20m euros, as the club is facing financial problems and needs money.

Leicester City was talked about a potential transfer of Vedat Muriq even in December last year, after it said the Premierligla club had sent scouts to Turkey to see Kosovo.

Now, the Turkish newspaper Aksham reports that Leicester City has joined West Bromech Albion and Tottenham in the middle of English clubs competing for 26-year-old services this summer.

Interested in Muriqi are also reported to be the two clubs of Serie, Lazio and Naples, while Muriqi has hinted with his claims that he will stay further in Fenerbahce, saying he leaves without being declared champion.
