Health Minister Armend Zemaj has visited the Kosovo Football Federation today to talk about the possible start of training in all football categories.
He was hosted by the president of this federation, Agim Ademi, as well as Secretary General Erroll Salihu, Kosovo reports.
The NFFK pledged before Zemaj that it would honour the strict protocol to maintain the health of football players in the event sports events are already banned.
Also, during this meeting the leaders of the NFF announced the minister's health situation and the need to start training all football categories, from soccer schools to clubs of all leagues and ranks, including women's football and football.
FFK leaders stressed that it is very necessary to start preparing exercises for the new championship as soon as possible, because the races are scheduled to begin on September 12th, while there is very little time left for teams.
The federation says it's only five weeks before the championship begins, which is not enough time for the preparation phase.
Zemaj said that tomorrow he will gather the Council to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and that “will consult them to make a quick and reasonable decision, given the importance of training, that football players keep in shape”.
