The Serbian Crvena Zvezda team has arrived on Albanian soil about 20 minutes ago, with players heading to the hotel where they will stay under strict security measures.
The Serbian team's delegation consists of 50 people, including a cook who will have the duty to check meals, as food will not be brought to Belgrade but will be consumed at the hotel reserved in Tirana.
In Albania's capital, footballers, professional staff members and management will have a special floor at the hotel where they will stay and be separated from other guests. An elevator has already been reserved, which will be available only to the Serbian team as well as to a special dining room.
To avoid any unpleasant surprises, the Serbian club has asked to be tested for COVID-19 as well as drivers who will be transported to the hotel.
Crvena Zvezda will perform the final exercise at “Air Albania” on Monday at 7: 00 p.m., while prior to the start of the exercise, coach Dejan Stankovic is expected to speak at the press conference. For the Serbian team, there will be no police coming from Serbia, as players will not be allowed out of the hotel under the U protocol. EFA to avoid vivid-19 infection.
In the Serbian media, meanwhile, the match in Tirana is always on the front page, because of the history between the two states, although journalists have tried to focus only on football.
“Zvezda should not think of anything else but must win against an average team. I have to admit that I am pleased that it will be played without audience as it has provocative from both sides”, says Serbian journalist Jovanovic. /newsbomb
