Kosovo Liberation Army values must be protected by law.
For these reasons the bill was drafted and the same after the government vote went to the Kosovo Assembly.
Even members of the Commission agreed to keep this bill at the last meeting they held.
But when the War Values Protection Bill was expected to go to the polls, a reaction came from the American Embassy.
This reaction by Ambassador Costnet has surprised War Veterans Organisation Chairman Hysni Gucati.
The same view of Gucat is shared by the Association of Witness Families.
Nor the very initiator of this bill, MP Gazmend Bytyqi from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, says he does not know the reason for this reaction.
According to him, this bill does not affect the Special Court or any other process.
However, he is convinced that the same should be prosecuted and voted into the Kosovo Assembly.
