Chelsea is said to have entered the race to sign with Real Madrid's left-wing defender, Sergio Regillo.
But Frank Lambard's team is facing a tough race from Everton and Seville, with the latter borrowing the player, where he was voted to be the best leftist defender in La League.
Everton is said to be the favourite for the signing of Reguilon, after setting an offer of 18 million pounds over the weekend, while Marca says Chelsea will first seek his one-year loan.
Chelsea's growing interest in Reguilon is a sign that Leicester City defender Ben Chillwell will not be moving towards Stemford Bridge.
The Foxes are looking for 80 million pounds for Chillwell, which is under contract by 2024, so Real Madrid's Reugion is considered a better option.
