Bundesligla has decided to allow fans to return to the stadium since September, but without the presence of opposing fans. The football federation in Germany has decided to open the stadium doors for fans if the government gives the green light.
Bundesligla and Bundesliga clubs 2 voted in favour of allowing fans in the stadium starting in September. Anyway, the president of the German football federation, DFL, Christian Sefert warns that the decision is in the hands of politicians due to the crisis by Covid-19.
If and when fans return to the stadiums it is not a decision DFL but politicians. Priority is not stadiums full but health. We should not take unnecessary risks but we must be careful”, the head of the German football federation said, DFL Christian Sefert.
The German Federation has also imposed several rules to allow fans at stadiums such as no opposing fans in stadiums by the end of 2020, not alcohol at stadiums until October 31st, at the entrance of the stadium will gather the identification tools of all fans.
