Barcelona is considering a former football player to take over the club. It's about former striker Thierry Henry, the successor to coach Quique Setien's close to dismissal.
Henry's name was reported by the Spanish medium “Diario Sport”. The French currently heads the MLS league team, Montreal Impact.
Henry used to be an assistant to Roberto Martinez of Belgium before he took his job at Monaco, a team that won only four times in 20 games. In January he was fired from the French club.
The ex-attack has scored 49 goals for “bugran” in three seasons, as it is now on the narrow list of trainers who can replace Sethien.
The work of Barcelona's coach is also mentioned in the names of Ronald Coeman, the Netherlands's selector, and Massimiliano Allegri, former coach of Milan and Juventus, Xavi, Maurizizio Pochettino and Maurizio Sarri.
Barcelona, meanwhile, is expected to fire even sports director Eric Abidal very soon.
