2 dead and 152 positive people with COVID-19 in Albania

Despite doctors' efforts, unfortunately in two COVID hospitals, they have not won the battle with two patients, a 61-year-old from Korca, and an 83-year-old from Mirday with co-operative diseases. We express our condolences to family members.

The announcement made by the MSH:

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection informs you of the epidemiological situation in the country. Over the last 24 hours in our country, 864 tests have been conducted for the evaluation of the SARS COV2 virus infection, and 152 people have been confirmed positive with COVID-19.

Explaining that tests include tests on public structures and cases of diagnosis resulting in suspects or positives in licensed non-public structures, according to the ISP assessment.
The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is as follows: 73 cases in Tirana, 19 cases in Korca, 9 cases in Berat, 8 cases in Durres, 7 cases in Kukes, 6 cases in Lezha, 5 cases in Shkodre, out of 3 cases in Elbasan, Kavaja, from 2 cases in Kruja, Vlora, Kamez, Matt, Gjirokastra, Klos, from 1 case to Fier, Lusnje, Rogozhin, Vau Deja, Graz, Cumva, Maliq.
In the last 24 hours, 110 citizens have been healed, bringing the number of cures to 4096 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Currently in Infective Hospital and “Chiefs Rudoku” are treating 137 confirmed positive patients with COVID-19, 24 in intensive therapy of which 7 patients are assembled.
We inform you that in two COVID hospitals are also receiving specialized service and 28 citizens who have been positive with COVID-19 and are currently negativeised, but are continuing to receive hospital treatment for the effects of the disease. As patients suspected of COVID19 continue to be treated, according to relevant protocols
