Zemaj has written on Facebook that, along with leaders of religious institutions in the country, they have discussed co-operation in implementing measures for protection by COVID-19.
“I have met today with BIK Chairman, Mufti Naim Ternava and BIK chairmanship, as well as Kosovo Archbishop Bishop Dode Gjergji, with whom we discussed the importance of co-operation in implementing measures for protection by Ovid-19. Religious communities in Kosovo have played an active role during this phase of the pandemic to influence efforts to confront the pandemic, something they will do is in the future in public health maintenance. We are together for the health and well-being of our citizens”, Semaj has been recorded.
In this case, Zemaj has reported them on the new measures the Kosovo Government will take to combat COVID-19.
Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, at a media conference today, said all gatherings at religious sites will be banned.
“We completely stop public gatherings and religious rituals”, Hoti said as he sought understanding from religious communities.
