Xhemajli said it is disturbing that all this event has so far conveyed the continuing silence of state institutions Kosovo, including past government Albin Kurti and current government Avdullah Hoti.
MP Xhemajli has demanded that the prime minister urgently invite Council meeting Security National, to analyze and prevent Serbia's access to Kosovo telecommunication, through purchase of the operator IPKO.
Deputy Bajrush Xhemajli's full statement:
Honored Citizens of the World Republic of Kosovo, the state of Kosovo, is facing a major danger that seriously affects our national security.
Operator Information IPKO as part of Telekom Slovenia may be sold to Telekom Serbia, extremely disturbing, unacceptable and direct attack on national state security Kosovo.
It is disturbing that all this event has so far conveyed the constant silence of state institutions Kosovo.
Kurti government and now the Hoti government have not made a single move to stop this dangerous scenario for the Republic of Kosovo.
The responsible institution, the Regulatory Authority of Electronic and Post Communications, has not taken a single legal and institutional step towards the event, being co-operating with the government Kurt and Hoti for the threat of national security.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo strongly condemns the responsibility shown by the government, Kurti and Hoti, against this great danger. With the possible realisation of this criminal and dangerous scenario, Serbia creates access to Kosovo telecommunication. This is how access is made to personal data, thousands of citizens and companies operating so far with the operator IPKO.
PDK requests:
1. For the prime minister to invite an emergency Council meeting Security National, to analyze and prevent Serbia's access to Kosovo telecommunication, through purchase of the operator IPKO.
2. Inform Slovenia's Telekom and Slovenia state that IPKO cannot be bought by states that have hostile access to Kosovo. Any attempt to continue this process will be considered an attack on our national security.
3. Kosovo's Electronic and Postal Communications Regulatory Authority urgently undertakes measures in line with their legal mandate.
4. To render an account to former Prime Minister Kurti and current Prime Minister Hoti for ignoring the issue.
Dear citizens, we assure you that The Democratic Party of Kosovo will take all necessary actions, and will in no way allow Serbia's Telekom to buy IPKO.
Serbia's time in Kosovo is once and for all, in June 1999.
