The woman was without symptoms COVID-19, but she allegedly infected 98 people at a nightclub in Prague.
The number of positive people with coronavirus related to a nightclub in Prague has increased to 98, and among them are football players from three major Prague clubs!
This is just a huge new wave of people suffering from COVID-19 in the Czech Republic, writes The Guardian.
During today, 247 new cases were reported, which is the largest number since the end of June. As a result, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babes said that “wearing the mask may be mandatory again in some closedspace”.
Health officials suspect that one woman, without symptoms, is the source of the infection that spread on July 11th after a party at a nightclub in Prague, is broadcasting Telegraph.
The authorities of this country claimed that 68 people of over a hundred people who were at the nightclub, seven employees, as well as 23 members of her families were tested positive with COVID-19. In total, 273 people are in quarantine.
After the media wrote that people in the club were infected by distributing drinks, officials reiterated the essential importance of physical distance.
However, despite increasing daily cases in recent weeks, the number of hospital admissions is only slightly (141 cases), which is one third during the April infection wave. Officially, a total of 14,570 people have tested positively with COVID-19, and 364 people died.
