Witnesses of the Iraqi massacre call it mounted proposal-access on Thaci and Wessel

For witnesses of the Milosevic massacre, the Special Court's proposal in The Hague to the country's president, Hashim Thaci of PDK leader Kadri Veselini, is unacceptable and mounted. The Iraqi massacre is one of the most terrible massacres committed by Serbs. While remembering the horrors they had seen 21 years earlier, [...]
On the morning of May 14th of 99, Serbian police forces had killed 46 civilians in three houses in the village, which were then burned. The village was devastated, while more than 400 civilians were expelled from it. There are still people living with the pain and memories of the macabre of that time.
Erzen Lushi has witnessed the massacre of the Iraqi village in the vicinity of Peja, where he was 16 years old at the time. For all these crimes, he had testified in Belgrade and Sweden, however, he remains disappointed with the court processes.
“In the village of Frak has committed crimes Serbian uniforms, official people, people of the Yugoslav Army. And as for the final charge, it is unfair, because the deliverers are being accused... For the very fact that we were witnesses in Belgrade then this is linked that we are not satisfied with the” charges, he says.
While expressing anger for the injustice being done to deliverers who are being charged with alleged war crimes, he says Serbs who are real criminals continue to remain at large. Lushi points out that there is nothing that compares the KLA's holy war.
There is nothing that measures the holy war with the crimes Serbs have committed in Kosovo. They killed children, slaughtered women, men, elders, saved nothing. Then I was 16 years old with my friend, and many of the children and women we saved here. They have spared nothing. They are being charged with something that never existed, but also charges mounted”, he adds.
In the early hours of May 14th morning, 99, Serbian police forces had blocked four sides of the Sik village. The same day, more than 40 males were scattered into three homes, where they were put to death and slaughtered that morning.
While remembering that day, the witness of this massacre, Erzen Lushi, says of Kosovo Preress that this proposal -- exactly towards former KLA commanders -- is unacceptable to Kosovo.
Few do not remember that day. Ardian Kelmendi, who was also 16-year-old at the time, says the Serbian regime had done “the cruel” in Kosovo.
“The NLA symbolizes something else. It has been the Kosovo Liberation Army to protect, remove a camera, a long-standing regime that made all these injustices in this country. How can we compare the Liberation Army that has tried to protect its mothers, its children, its hearths from such a barbarous regime that it has done not only in Kosovo but also in other countries. Serbia's regime is internationally recognised for its crimes that it has exercised as state”, he declares.
For Kelmendin, the proposal-actus to President Thaci and Wessel are serious.
And we in this part of our pain, it's also a great pain that's being put on our shoulders, even those people who have done something about this place that's been struggling. One aspect from which they have been able to deliver, protect their mothers, their own havens, their brothers. Even that one is wanting to tarnish their clean fight”, he adds to KosovaPress.
Kelmendi says that just as he has testified to the Sik massacre, he is willing to testify in defense of the Kosovo Liberation Army. According to him, criminals who were not convicted of crimes committed in Kosovo are equated with the civilian population in Kosovo. Erzeni's Ardian has been lost by nine family members in the morning massacre of May 14th, 99.
