Vuciq said Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Northern Macedonia President Stevo Pendarovski, along with him, are the biggest enthusiasts when it comes to closer and stronger co-operation.
He expressed his confidence that this project will be realised. The Balkan Schengen according to him is very important for Serbs and Albanians, because people will visit foreign countries unknown to them.
I think we can make better connections between us. We can go to Albania on beaches, people would do different things that they couldn't try before. On the other hand, Albanians can come to different parts of Serbia. They'll like our country, I'm convinced of this”, Vuciq stressed.
The Serbian president said it does not matter who leads the European path, because according to him, co-operation among Balkan countries will remain Serbia's priority even after membership in the European Union (BE).
The “does not matter whether someone is ahead of others on the European road, because everyone will stay in the Western Balkans, and co-operation between our countries will remain a priority for Serbia even after EU membership”, Vuciq stressed.
He supported the idea to hold the summit once a month, because they can thus monitor the implementation of everything they agreed on.
