American President Donald Trump has put a mask on public for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic.
The president was visiting the Walter Reed military hospital outside Washington, where he met with wounded soldiers and health care workers, writes the BBC, broadcasting Indexline.
I've never been against using the mask, but I believe their use has a time and place”, Trump said as he left the White House.
Trump has never been seen wearing a mask on meetings and other visits, even taunting Democrat rival Joe Biden for wearing a mask.
After his visit Saturday, Trump said: “I think that when you're in a hospital, especially in a particular environment where some soldiers and people had just left the operating room, I think it's great to put the mask”
