On Wednesday in “Air Albania” Tirana, declared mathematically champion, will play last week's Superliga match against Bylis, a meeting that in normal conditions would fill the stadium full, as White and blues will raise the title won after 11 years.
But as it is known, it is impossible because of the coronary, and for this Tirana club, it has made a clarification on the official page where it says that “due to circumstances the holiday will be postponed to another time”.
Tirana club response: Wednesday's 29/07/2020, last match-up of KF Tirana Championships- KF Bylis. Tirana lands in the field as the country's champion for the 2019-2020 season on its 100th birthday. Taking advantage of the unusual situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, all the arrangements meant for this year's joint jubilee holiday will be shifted to a second moment in the hope that this situation will end. The Tirana Football Club reports the match will take place at “Air Albania” at 7: 00 p.m. without the presence of fans according to relevant protocols and rules set by the Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, the FSHF has also reacted to the issue, which says that for the reason that the champion club deserves to celebrate the holiday in a dignified manner.
Concretically FSHF writes:
The Albanian Football Fund is preparing final ceremonies of the 2019/20 season. An unprecedented season interrupted at the beginning of March due to the announcement of the David-19 pandemic, to resume after many difficulties on June 3rd.
The Federation succeeded in ensuring regular match development as well as the health security of all participants. At the end of the KF Tirana match - KF Bylis, played on Wednesday (July 29th, 7th) at the “Air Albania” stadium, will also be held, which was won by the Tirana Club.
While, on August 2nd, the finale of Albania's Cup will be played, KF Teuta - KF Tirana. Even this challenge will be played at the “Air Albania” stadium starting at 8:00. Being under pandemic conditions, the matches are known to be held without fan presence and trophy ceremonies will be somewhat special this time around.
The Football Federation has taken care of and has taken steps for trophy winners to be reserved as dignified and respected as they are, but also focused on implementing the health protocol adopted by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection with the aim of preventing the spread of the virus”.
