Thaci: This is a stain of the KLA's pure war and political propaganda

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, prior to his interview in The Hague, reiterated that the Kosovo Liberation Army has fought clean war and that his invitation is a stain of the KLA war and that, according to him, this is rather political propaganda, as Thaci stressed, Kosovo is in its key political moments -- that is, with dialogue with Serbia, news reports.

In his English speech to even foreign media, President Thaci said he would respond to any Special Court invitation to show his innocence, Wessel and all those who fought for their country's freedom.

Thaci again stressed that it was Slobodan Milosevic who committed crimes and genocide in Kosovo.

According to Thaci, the people of Kosovo have fought for their freedom and have defended their lands.
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has appeared in Specialised Chambers to be interviewed, just as he had received the invitation the day before.

Thaci said he believes in justice and truth, and that was the price of freedom he should pay.

“I am here today in respect to my dream and for what I have fought, a free and independent Kosovo, based on equal rights and rule of law. I'm ready to face new challenges and win, for my son, for my family and for my country. No one can rewrite history. That's the price of freedom. I believe in peace, in truth and in righteousness. I believe in dialogue and in good relations with neighbouring countries. Kosovo is a success story and I am very proud. Kosovo's destination is integration into the European Union, NATO and good relations with the US,” said Thaci.

Meanwhile, a group of KLA supporters and President Hashim Thaci have gathered outside Special Court in The Hague and hailed the name of head of state, “U n The CK”, as well as the placards on hands, have sought justice for crimes committed in Kosovo during the last war.
