Shpend Ahmeti requires these two to follow Britain's example of treating Covid-19 through transfusion of blood from people who have gone through the disease to those who are in serious condition, hoping that antibodies willing by the person with immunity will fight the virus in the person with the virus.
He in a Facebook post writes that the first serial tests in Pristina show that patients affected by Covid-19 have antibodies fighting the virus, some with high levels of antibodies.
“In the absence of pharmaceutical treatments, states are experiencing the treatment of blood transfusions (plugs) from those who have gone through it in those who are seriously ill. This in the hope that antibodies willing by the person with immunity will fight the virus in the person with the virus now”, Ahmeti said.
He has remembered that in Britain alone, 143 hospitals are taking part in the test of plasma transfusion, where 115 thousand people have offered blood while up until now over 150,000 plasma units have been collected from people who have had the virus and have immunity.
“Move further than in Macedonia is experiencing this treatment, of course until finding other treatments, vaccines or pharmaceutical solutions. Serological tests show immunity. I recommend the Ministry of Health and I KSHPK gather health experts to assess this methodology and also seek O's help BSH, in the hope that only one life can be saved”, Ahmeti said.
