Serbian media: Brussels to tomorrow will place ultimatum on Serbia around Kosovo

Brussels on Thursday will actually put Serbia in the face of an ultimatum, Serbian media write on Tuesday.

According to the Belgrade newspaper “Novosti”, the Belgrade delegation, travelling for talks with Miroslav Lajcak and the Kosovo side, at EU headquarters, will be submitted to the draft of the comprehensive agreement, including the recognition of Kosovo by Serbia.

Sources from diplomatic circles have told this newspaper that Brussels through Lajcak plans that Serbian delegation chief Marko Djurici hand over the secret “draft, with the request to submit to Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciqit”.

This draft has been compiled by the EU without negotiating with any party and misusing their approach to technical dialogue. The text requires that Serbia accept Kosovo's membership in the UN and other international organisations” as well, Serbian media have said this diplomatic source.
